18 Months

Hey!  Remember me?  That's okay most days I don't remember my own name let alone others. 

I figured that I MAYBE should take some 18 month pictures this weekend since he's a week shy of being 19 months and decided to use our backyard as a photo shoot site since this age pretty much equals a refusal to stand still, EVER yesterday since his momma decided to FRY herself at the pool the day before and needed to be in a shaded area

The following is what I ended up with.  Nothing fancy schmancy, mainly just to continue the "taking pictures with an actual camera that is NOT an iPhone every 6 months" theme ...

To call that a "photo shoot" really isn't accurate.  It was more of a "chase my toddler around and try and get him to stop moving long enough for a picture" shoot.  But at least I documented the "18 month" age.  

I sure do love this precious boy.

Thirty-One.

Nope, I'm not talking about the Mary Kay-esque home parties company, I'm talking about me. I turned 31 yesterday. The Mister was out of town so what did my girls do? Treat me to an amazing birfday dinner!










And how cute is that cake?!? Thank you SO much to my MOH!!! She knows I love me some teal!!!

I promise I'll start being a better blogger soon. PROMISE.

I know, I know I've been super MIA lately. But I TOLD y'all, we moved. With a toddler.

And.
There.
Is.
Nonstop.
Unpacking.
To.
Be.
Done.

And an 18 mo old + unpacking = the equivalent to a house that looks like it should be featured on hoarders because you have so much stuff everywhere.

Ok.

It's really not that bad.

And I've actually made quite a bit of progress.

BUT, the toddler seriously doesn't help. So it's going slower than I would've liked. But oh well, doesn't everything when you're impatient?

Anyways, this past weekend we went to the hunting and fishing club that my family's members of and took my MOH, her precious boyfriend and baby girl.

And OMG y'all. Did we ever have fun. Need to see proof? Oh I got some ...

We had SUCH fun but, like every other time you go out of town, it's great to be home.

Lastly, tonight we went to celebrate Momma's Day at my parents house. I'm so thankful for the woman that made me the mother I am today. I'm so blessed to call her my momma AND my absolute best friend!




And for the little guy that made me a momma a year and a half ago!
