Where I've Been ...

How is life with two you ask? Honestly at first it was tough. The no sleep, nursing around the clock, recovering from a c-section and a toddler that was a BIT jealous at first ...

I mean, every one throws trains/balls/insert projectile object at their new siblings head right?

I AM pretty sure that my boys have some sort hidden language or look that, when used means, "Okay everybody poop, NOW!" It can also be used for cry, scream and be hungry.

However now that we've got a few months under our belt, momma's recovering and starting to workout and we're able to get out of the house a bit I really feel like life is beginning to settle back into a groove. Which is nice.

So per usual I'll catch you up with a enormous picture dump. Hope you enjoy!

Aunt Ally is silly!

C: "Here baby here's your paci."
N: "MOM a little help here?!?"

C: "Here baby, have your paci."
N: "Mom, please don't let him shove that in my face again."

First solo walk with both boys. C is EXCITED!

And that's about it folks. I'm sure I'll be back in another 2 months to update this business. Who knows, maybe I'll surprise myself and do it sooner?

Probably not.

Hope all is well with everyone!

He's HERE!

Our sweet little N was born on Saturday, February 9 at 5:19 pm at 36 weeks 6 days. Just one day shy of full term. The short story is my BP sky rocketed Friday night up to 180/112 several times and by Saturday morning my doctor decided she was done playing around and it was time to meet our littlest man. Weighing in at 6 lbs 11 oz, welcome sweet, precious N!

Daddy with our boy ...

First time seeing my 2nd born!

First time getting to hold him since the day before. He had to go straight to the NICU due to breathing issues from my having to be on magnesium before delivery and stayed overnight. I couldn't go see him because I had to be on 12 hours of magnesium for my high blood pressure.

Meeting all his grandparents and great grandmas!

Going home!

Caught the first smile!

C LOVES him! He kept saying "Hi, bay-eeee, my hold you bay-eeee, hold you." Unfortunately the day we got home he came back with a runny nose and itchy eyes so we're keeping them quarantined til his symptoms clear up and it's KILLING ME! I was so looking forward to finally getting to be with my first boy and now I have to stay away from him again. So so sad. This was before we decided to quarantine them. He was telling N the names of his trains.

He had a bit of jaundice when we brought him home so I'm working on feeding him as much as he'll eat and getting him sunlight. Besides that he and I are just sitting in my room waiting for C to get better. We are ALMOST positive it's allergies but don't want to take any chances.

I can't wait to all be "together" again (that sounds funny since we're all in the same house), I miss my first born!!!

Do You C What I C?

I know I haven't given you your C fix in awhile so I thought I'd share the picture updates that my mom sends me while she's taking care of my munchkin ...

The slide causes crazy static hair!

Juice break.

Miss this sweet boy and his sweet face. But I'm happy he's having so much fun with his Mamaw!
